I was wondering if anyone has the front hitch for the Outlander? I am thinking about getting it since there is no easy place to hook on the front of the machine. Just curious how it works, looks , and how difficult it is to install.

No I was looking to build one. I never got around to it though. Do you got a 2" receiver for your V-Twin machine ? I made one out of stainless steel for mine and it turned out so good I made about a dozen more. Check them out their on e-bay. Just paste the following text into the search box on e-bay. I have a new in the box BRP hitch for the front of an Outlander 800.
I put the Ricochet Skids on mine and the hitch no longer fits.

I had the dealer install a front hitch when I couldn't find a good place to hook up a tow rope. I've never had to have anyone tow me but it came in handy pulling someone else out of the mud. Mine mounted okay with the factory skid plates.

 

The hitch won't fit with Ricochet skids? That's a bummer I am just getting ready to order a pair now. Where does the front hitch come out when mounted?
