Default DS650 for me?

hey guys I was looking threw the adds for fourwheelers for sale and I noticed that DS650's are starting to go for cheap (not that they are cheap bikes) anywayz I was wondering if a ds650 would be right for me? I am 14 years old with alot of exp. I am 5'11" and about 165 pounds and I am not afraid of speed...I have been thinking of another bike because my 250 is pretty slow and is old and allways need repair...so are ds650's any good? I was thinking of getting a 2001 model

Thanks

Right for you???? I would say so. But, I guess you should ask yourself, What exactly do I want to do with this bike???. The DS is tough as wet leather and the motor is bullet proof. Now, the drawback to the 02' and older is the weight of the machine. Now, if weight is not a factor, then I would say scoop it up. Give it a try and let us know what you think. I can assure you, You will be hooked.....

in the add is doesnt say it has reverse do they have reverse? and weight it not so much of an isue because i am pretty strong like i can lift the kodiak out of a mud whole when i am stuck so unless the bike is heavier then the kodiak i don't think i got a problem and another thing is how hard are they on gas?

Well, the DS does not have a reverse...and no, the bike is not as heavy as a Kodiak. But, I dont see it being much of a mudbogger, LOL! Afterall this is a sport bike. They are very fast. You cant tell these things weigh 460-470lbs. I promise! They are pretty good on gas, considering its a 650cc engine.

Thanks a lot. I hope you can get the DS. You will not be let down....besides, if you are let down. Im sure it will not be too hard to get rid of it.

If you like a reliable, quality product then I would say a ds is for you. Dont worry about the weight issue becouse in most accidents the biggest vehical usualy wins. You will enjoy the bike.

You dont need reverse once you have past it you have seen it already. No reverse means only new adventures.
