i recently got a 44mm lectron from mrhp.i ride mostly track and trails.i am very happy with it.it has a lot more power and is like a new machine on the top end.i have not had any problem with throttle stick, throttle suck or anything like that.works great for wide open riding or tight technical stuff.i highly recommend it.mrhp is a great guy to deal with also.

the 44mm was $350 but if you want to use a thumb throttle you should get a moose throttle, $125.i did modify the stock one and it did work but my thumb would get caught on the back side of the grip.much safer to just get the moose.

Air,

You've got a Lectron now? A 48 no less, wow. What are you doing with that machine? In the past you sounded like you were not very into the whole Lectron idea, what changed your mind enough to buy one?

Likewise, i just picked ap the Mr Hp 44 for track and trail, but jetting wasnt even close. Aparently the needle was mislabled mr. hp 2-4 and thats not what it actually was? Now there back ordered so i have to run my stock carb till they get replacements.

Did you happen to read the Mr. HP number on the needle? Was it a Mr. Hp 2-4? or like a 1-4 or 1-3? I had to spin the needle out 6.5 turns to get it to idle good but then accelaration is lean. Thats way past there recomended setting, and the slide rests on the needle that is bottomed out in the carb at that setting, so idle is stuck at about 1800 RPM minimum.

Eric was helpfull and friendly as everyone allways says. I cant believe thost guys have any time for themselves? I also just went with there 11.5/1 piston. Never got ahold of randal about the needle, as he was bussy on the dyno, or out for a while, but richards rec. said he will be getting a different needle to me when they get them back in stock.

Im sort of bummed for now. Hoping to go ride the 11.5/1 today and see how it is with the stock carb..

Dave.
