Hi, what's the hole near the oil filter ??? It's on the right - below the oil filter cap. Is there a bolt that goes in there ?

I think your taking about the oil bleeder valve if it's a 2000 model.

 

The oil bleeder valve is in the oil filter area.

What i'm talking about is the hole outside de oil filter area

mobil1 your not talking about the neutral switch are you? below the oil filter and in front of the contershaft sprocket are you? it has a black plastic peive that is screwed into the side if the case with a liitle bronze or brass hole that os threaded for the wire to attach? let us know what you find out

 

No it's not the neutral switch. It's upper that... it's right under the oil filter cap.. by the way, it's not on the magneto cover.

 

So, nobody know what is it ?? My dealer thinks that's it's a bolt that goes in there (M6x65)

 

If you're talking directly under the filter cover and kinda deep in, yes, there is a bolt that goes in there.

 

It may not be so much that we don't know. . . it may be more that we aren't sure what you are attempting to explain [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

First, if the oil filter cap is on can you see the hole?

If the filter cap is off and the filter is out the hole is. . . in the middle, in the ???? o'clock position???

The hole is about how large?

With this information we should be able to help you.

 

I have a 2000 model, but no holes. You'r missing a screw dude. I'll try to put a pic up in a min or to. check my pics in a few min.
