My dealer says the 330 and 400 are identical with the engine being the only difference but couldnt give me any comparison on performance. So guys what your opinions on the two machines. Oh ya, I bought the 330, seems like plenty of power/performance to me.

In my parts cd everything seemed to be the same except for the motor like you stated. Did you get the 4 x 4 or the 4x2? With everything being the same i dont think there realy would be much of a difference in performance except for a little bit in power. On the 04 the 330 and 400 were both on the same parts list. How do you like it and what kind of riding do you use it foe?

Thanks 4 info 2BIG, I got the 4X4. I also have a 150cc offroad kart but it isnt any good on the Mich, ATV trails. I have been riding a Yamaha YMF350 that I bought new in '87. My friends all have new utility machines, Artic Cat 3004x4s and Yamaha 4X4 400s. Were all in our 50s so arent into the real agressive riding. We have been riding trails the last couple of years and I just got tired of getting beat up on my old hopper. This outlander is like riding on an easy boy recliner , what a difference. The higher steering took just a little getting used to and the initial acceleration seems a little slow but might get better after its broke in, other than that I love it. Only have a few miles on it so far but were getting ready for another trip.
