Default Ds 650 high out put stator 410 watts!

Full Throttle Junkies will be offering a replacement upgrade stator for the DS for additional lighting, AC, powertools or Microwave appliances(jk) it is putting out over 400watts. Since FTJ advertises here I thought I'd mention it. THe stock stator is rated to 270 watts but when tested, produced about 240W.

I guess that means my stator is ready!!!

I started this upgrade on the DS650 stator mess as I want to run 6 HIDS with my Turbo EFI for night rides. My DS was having trouble pulling 4 HIDS at the dunes and kept wearing my Odessey battery down within two hrs.

I went to Kelly at KMS Performance and he checked my stator under load. The BRP advertised stator says 290 watts, but under load it was only 240 watts. I was using about 100 watts more!!! So I asked Kelly for a high output stator. We tried several different ideas but until now, he has not been able to get the wattage I need.

The good thing about Kelly at KMS is that you pay for something once and he continues to work on it until he delivers what he promised. Most shops would either say "thats it" or want more money. Kelly keeps working at the problem to perfect his product!!!

You can't get better customer service!!!

A BMW one for the F650 might work.
