No, it not mine. Not enough hair (TMI). There's a bigger shot of it in my pics. Somebody was pissed when they sobered up.

the quadzilla 500 of all years was the fastest production quad. in 1990 it was clocked at 81 mph bone stock by 3 and 4 wheel atv mag. never in the hell a bone stock quadzilla will reach 92 mph. and never in the hell a bone stock 250r reach speed of 89 mph!!!. the outlander 800 is now the fastest production atv.

in a very near future bone stock atv's will reach 100 mph. because the machine who will unseat the outlander 800 is going to be a hell of a machine! and it will be unseated sooner or later by bombardier himself or by more ferocious competition.

in about two or three years we will see a 100 mph bone stock quad. we are in the middle of a massive horsepower war like the muscle car era of the sixties.

now its the era of the muscle quad.

I plead ignorance of this ATV so I hope I don't sound too stupid. I am told it is a SUV model. Was this speed established in 2WD or is it capable of doing it in 4WD also? If so, maybe I need to re-think my next high-speed project ATV (was considering the DS).

Thanks. I originally planned to do it with a DS, but fate had other plans. Our single best run in R&D was 136mph, but it started to fly apart. That's when I realized a DS was a better choice. I'm now looking at the 150mph target with a DS possibly and a bigger rocket motor. That is unless I use an Outlander. Wouldn't that be hilarious to hold the world land speed record witha 4WD?

...It would be EVEN FUNNIER if you could hold the record in 4WD!!! But either way, I think Bombardier would enjoy the attention to their brand new outlander, I don't think it would be a 'selling point' but certainly something to get people talking about the machine.

How fast must you go with a f- wheel dr, I can see it now some goof going 80 in the mountains and making the nature freaks mad.We need to have some kinda limiate with 4 wheel drs or there will be more trails shut down. I know one thing ,my polaris 700 that I sold would never be able to handle 90 or 100 mph.

Laws and rules can be very bad so don't always jump to that conclusion. What we need is owner / rider responsibility. If people are RESPONSIBLE for their actions, and are intelligent about what they are doing, as well as take the time to THINK before they do it then there is no need for extra rules and laws that just make life more difficult for the intelligent, thinking population. We don't need the government to protect us from ourselves, we need the general population to think, then act.
