Well I got the flywheel puller today and pulled it. It looks like I got lucky and the only thing that got damaged in my DS was the sprag clutch. I called Ron Woods racing and they wanted $280.00 for the sprag clutch. I then went to a BMW site that one of you guys gave me a while ago and they had it for $96.00. Who ever posted that link thanks. Here it is for all the rest of you guys.

The F650 Funduro has the same exact parts in it as the DS 650. They are the same motor.

When I pulled the sprag clutch I did not notice which way I pulled it out. I now notice an arrow for direction on the sprag clutch. I guess the arrow should be facing toward the front of the quad correct ???????

Is the sprag clutch called something else on the link?
Are you looking under the "F" series 650?

 

Yes it is. The sprag clutch is call a free wheel. Its #12 in the diagram.

By the way my real problem was the gear wheel #20 one of the teeth bent. That cost $50.00
