the creases in the plastic will come out with a hot air paint stripping gun and some manipulation.
Works on plastic ,not so good on people.
hope you feel better , we have all been there, or are heading for it.

Aw man you can't give up! You just got it together and running good. You crashed and now it's back to the drawing board.
As for the sound and the oil issue, it sounds like you need to drain the oil and bleed it all out. Start there.
The bent things you might find here or a dealer. Also ebay. I just saw heelguards and plastics there. Shoot even handlebars.

Half the reason this sport is so fun is because of that danger factor. If there wasn't some danger involved, men wouldn't be interested in it. No wonder sex is so fun, lots of crap to deal with there! Just like riding your DS - when it's good, IT'S GOOD!!
