I AM THINKING OF GETTING A 720 KIT FOR MY QUAD AND I WAS WONDERING HOW IT WILL BE IN THE TRAILS OR JUST NORMAL RIDING. OR IS THERE ANY OTHER KIND OF MODS THAT INCREASE HP THAT WONT EFFECT STARTING AND RUNNING IN COLD WEATHER.THANKS FOR YOUR INFO

I dont know what you have now but I started with Mr.Hp endcap, jet kit and no toil filter. I removed the airbox and installed an outwear over the filter. Pretty good gain. You could then go higher comp piston, cams and larger carb. CDI box if your running better cams. If your thinking of going Big bore do your homework ask some of these guys about the various kits out there. Im running a 730 from HPR and I couldnt be happier, the gain is tremdous. I see alot of 720 kits on ebay I wonder why that is? My kit was relatively easy to install, just follow the instructions to the letter. Sandaholic is a wealth of info check out his site and ask a few questions.

Oh yea, I have always had trouble starting in cold weather even when bone stock. I found if I started it up in the garage before I took it out I had no problems. As far as trail riding you have to consider where you want the power. Trails require more low end verses high and mid for dragging and duning. So you have to consider what mods to do get the power where you want it.

I have 720 kit with the JE 11 1/2 compression piston. I ride trails as 80% of my riding and I can't be happier with low end power and midrange. Be sure to have the proper fuel mixture and open up your exhaust.
