Default Please help!! I think brp is trying to F@#$ me!!

so heres the deal, im riding along and i hear this clunkin, at first i thought i was the drivetrain, but soon realize that my front left strut is blown. NO problume, its under warranty, so i call the dealer, he tells me it is, and i get it fixed, two weeks later, he gives me a call. Turns out brp refused to warranty it, which is crazy because i know that this is a fairly commone problume with outlanders. Now im supposed to pay for the part and labor, when, if it wasnt under warranty i would have just bought the part and fixed it myself. So i what i want to know is how many people have had their struts blow, and replaced under warranty, because with only 500 miles and moderate riding, this should never of happened IMO. Any help would be welcome. AND now my VR is bout out, i got the "fail" message last time i was riding. Ive bout had it

I'd try talking to the regional Bombardier Rep.. Also do a search on the forum for Bombardier Customer Service. You should find the phone number, and perhaps an email address. Then you can call and email them, see if you can straighten it out that way. The only way I let the dealers do the work is when it is under warranty because they have to; otherwise it is just easier/better to do it yourself. Some dealers are competent, but some are not - I don't want to gamble.

Could it be the dealer is trying to double dip ? Possibly he was paid by BRP, and now wants to see if you will pay the repair without a hassle. I guess you could ask for the document that denies you your claim, and if it is legit get the contact information.
