When ordering an axle.....
#4
Do yourself a favor an get new bearings. I bent my axle about 2 months ago, I replaced it with a Durablue Eliminator Axle. I did not change the bearing, well I should have. Went on a ride yesterday and the bearings went out. Got it tore apart today, luckly no damage to the new axle. So yeah get new bearings.

So far holding up great. I went with the DuraBlue because it is suppose to be stronger and lighter than the stock axle. They will replace the first one that you break or bent for free and then $175.00 after that. That is there standard warranty. It was about $40.00 higher than the stock axle plus shipping. Figured can't go wrong if I bend or break this one since the next one is free.

Sounds like a good deal... I'm sold. Will get one soon. My whole rear setup is costing me a fortune (04 Swingarm, RADMFG Axle Carrier, Brake Caliper Holder, etc...).

I got mine through rockymountainatvmc.com, they are a certified durablue dealer and will have the same warranty as if you bought straight from Durablue. All warranty issue are directly handled through Durablue manufacture you just have to have you receipt or bill of sale. As far as I know the only way Durablue will not honor the warranty is if you buy the axle from an individual or non Durablue dealer. Rockymountain had the best deal that I could find and the axle I got was 2 inches longer than the stock axle even though they don't list it as +2. I chose the 3 day shipping and it was an extra $19.95.

thanks happy for the help. The only reason i was going to go through dursblue was cause of the +2. But since rockymountain is the same il go throught them and save a couple hundred bucks.
