Default ds jetting ??

Need to know where to start on jetting my new DS. My mods are K&N air filter, big gun full exauhst, big gun rev limiter, K&N jet kit. Any ideas on the size of the jets & needle position would be appreciated. Also should i run without the air lid. 98% of riding will be in florida at sea level if that helps. Thanks for any info.

You say its a k&n jet kit is it mikuni jets or dynojets ? A Mikuni 165 which is the stock jet that comes in the bike is equal to a 176 dynojet. When my bike had these mods i had a 185 dynojet installed and the needle in the second position. This jet falls in between the mikuni sizes so if you have mikuni ones put a 175.Get rid of the airbox lid and the snorkels but make sure you get a precharger for your filter. precharger or outerwear its the same thing people just call it different names.. Is the exhaust the race or quiet series, or is it the new one they come out with?

Mikuni TM45 is about all that's left without breaking into the motor.
