Default man what a ride!!!!!!

im just now getting where i can stand up and make it to the computer....sunday we went out to lake murray to ride and do a little drag racing. a young kid stranded off into the middle of the drag strip while i was doing about 85mph(ok, maybe 80) and to keep from hitting him i had to stray off into a small water hole, u can imagine what happend next..PAIN, nothing but pain..lol..i was a trooper tho, after about 5 flips i desided i would save my ds from all that rolling and used my body as a landing ground for it...lol...i didnt relize how heavy those things are untill that, its time to put that hog on a diet..amazingly, my ds was barely hurt, i bent the steering stem and the handlebars, and the tach is broke i think...i guess i was pretty lucky, i escaped with a dislocated shoulder and hip, with 5 broken ribs and a puntured lung..not bad for my first major wreck. i was sure glad i wore my helmet, the back wheel somewhere down the line hit me in the back of the head(concution) and turned the helmet into paper machay(i know i spelled it wrong), i could just imagine what it would of done without it on. enough babling, if anyone has an extra steering stem, give me a holla...thanks Rocky

Congratulations on surviving that! Did the f'ing kid have any idea that he caused the accident? Did his parents kiss your *** for not teaching their kid to watch where he is going?

You really took a beating, I hope to never become the airbag for my DS.

I have been body slammed by the DS a couple of times and have had broken ribs from it. try not to sneeze or you will think you broke your ribs all over again. Get well soon. Did anybody get that on video?

it will proberly be a little while before i jump back on the horse, i dont see myself trying to ride for a little while..lol..i had to stop my wife this mornng , she was in the prossess of putting my ds on ebay...crazy woman...lol..

clshhortt, murrays kinda going thru a rebuild stage, one day dirt will be in one area the next day there is a twenty ft jump, i think they are trying to expand the trails for the most part to a two lane type deal..its pretty fun , but it gets old after a while, we were going to go ride at munster, but we changed are mind at the last second....they seem to have big plans for murry, its just taking longer thatn they thought...
