Default 300 ft mph ?

Man, Im going to be weighing this pig in the next couple of weeks. I would estimate it to be around the 420lb range in drag trim.

Default 300 ft mph ?

Hey Ben,

When I had the RWR stage1 kit in mine, we did 53 mph in 300, and I weigh in around 150 or so. Well, maybe more like 220, but who's keeping track. After spending 6 THOUSAND dollars, I was able to run a 4.8 second run at 69mph. That is my best time on a spectacular dirt track. After selling the 6 THOUSAND dollar motor, and replacing it with a 810.00 dollar motor, I run consistant 4.4 - 4.5 at 70 - 73 mph.

It sounds like your new Lectron is working out great for you. If you ever need help tuning it, Ive spent hours and hours working on mine. We will have to hit Silver Lake again this October, what you say, you in????

Gary

p.s. Steves frame will be done this weekend.

I'll just have to duck into the bushes up there and watch those longggggg swingarms make you turn like a 18 wheeler ! Sorry dude but its the only way I can keep from eating sand ! I'll definatly take you up on the tuning session . you got anywhere out by the shop to make passes ?Ben

There are plenty of places to make passes. Come on out to some of the events we go to. With a stock bore DS, you can enter between 2 and 4 classes at each event. For a mear 10 bucks a class, its a great oportunity to test and tune. You will know first hand what works or doesnt work.

Hmmm did I just get a whif of lectron tuning help? Granted it wasnt directed at me..but I have an hv46 headed my way shortly, and I am sure I could use a knowledgeable person to help get the needle and jets right.

I havnt been to sliver lake in well over a year now... wouldnt mind hitting it up in october (If you guys dont mind me inviting myself...lol) I just have to see if I can get at least one of my buddies to go, so I can hitch a ride (no trailor or truck anymore).

The more the merrier Roost,

There is an event in Burr Oak Wisconsin on Oct. 9th, so Im guessing the weekend of the 15th, will be the weekend for us. So far, our Raptor 1000 project WILL make the Burr Oak event, so its going to tear up the sand for sure. It will probably have the blue bottle on it by that time also.

raptor 1000 ON JUICE? What do you guys smoke before you run these things as not to **** yourself once you launch? If I ever come up with the cash for the heart transplant (ie 750 swap) I will let you know...and seeing either the rappy 1k or your ds 750 will make me want one even more im sure!

I know the 750 puts out like 110 or 120 at the wheels, what does the 1000 motor put down?

AHHH HAA. Caught you guys talking bout me behind my back again.

I believe the 1k motor stock, puts out about 150 hp. the blue bottle should put it between 180-200.

Gary, get your butt back to the shop, these bottom frame rails dont go in by themselves you know.
We need to get this ride ready for Boscobel. Need the seat time for Burr Oak.

Yea, Ben, keep playing with that stock motor. Not everybody can handle an F1. LOL

Steve , you keep talking big guy ! It sure would suck if your tip over switch got unplugged !!!!!!!!!!!!! and I was able to roost you a few times before you figured it out and got me back . So do you wanna race thru the woods with me ??????????? OH wait , the F1 WONT FIT in the woods ! with the + 29 million inch extended swingarm you'll have ! Sorry , my bad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd be right there with you guys if these people I'm trying to deal with would reach behind thier back side and remove thier heads !!!!!!!!!! That guy STILL after 4 months has not got that frame oout of his rafters for me . I already sold my motor (but I still do have a spare ) , so It is still possible , but not looking good , based on my past experiences ! Is the new 1000 gonna fly at the picnic ? Handle an 180 to 200 hp bike , I've already had bigger , that hp don't bother me at all . The question I have for you is , can you handle it ????????? that much hp and being as light as you are that thing is gonna just hover over the groound and barly touch .
