Which of those is a better disc system? Come on man, you know that there is no "Best" exhaust sytem. All have thier own individual advantages. Sound, power, noise, what its made of, how much it weighs and the list goes on.

Which is best in your mind?

When you are riding where sound is a problem......The disks just make sence...I have got it down to how many I need to get by with at different areas...I do run a little richer with 8 disks that gets me to 98 as opossed to 12..which is a hair over 100 .I change out my air box lid with one that is a little more open i know I should go with a smaller jet but its a quick fix when you want to get out and ride. The disks swap out pretty fast especially with the use of a cordless...just don't forget the never seeze on the bolts

Teebone,

Are you still running the stock muffler can? The reason I ask is because some of the sound reduction is also in the packing.

Thanks.

Yeah, I am still on the stock can, and the packing is still there. One thing that I thought of though and it might make a little differance when they sound checked me I was on asphalt.

That's about what I expected.

I ran my first disk pipe (Top Gun) today so I can't speak on the others. For me I would have to say the Top Gun pipe with disk end cap.

The top gun pipe, from the reading I have done, is a good mid and low end pipe. If thats where you want the power, then thats a good pipe for you. But thats not what Scatterbrain was looking for in particular. He needs a good mid and top end pipe.

Marky, reading is good but first hand experience is even better. Your comment about which one is better to me was for me as I stated. I'm not selling anything here & just give my opinion. I was not speaking for him or to him. I wish Scatterbrain the best in his choice what ever it is. I'm not making anything off of my opinion & I'm not a vender.

What have you been reading about the Top Gun pipe? For me I need to sell a HMF & Big Gun pipe to buy anther Top Gun pipe for my other DS. I will still hold on to the ugly stick pipe for drag racing only. I will also hold on to my HPR billet end cap. I think it will make a good trophy.

Thanks for your time ODP.
