IRS

NOW THAT THE POLARIS CAME OUT WITH INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION. I WONDER HOW LONG IT WILL BEFORE OTHER COMPANIES START TESTING SOME OF THERE PRODUCTS WITH IRS... I JUST DON'T LIKE WHERE THEY PUT THE PIPE ON THE BIKE(OUTLAW 500). I WOULD LIKE TO RIDE IT TO SEE HOW SMOOTH THE RIDE IS....

I think the IRS bike is going to fall flat on its face for the serious sport riders. IRS is great for lite trail riding and is comortable but going fast and hard cornering, it will be a nightmare. I hope that most of the manufactures stay away from this gimmick

I think this is the greatest idea anyone had the ***** to build, All i do is high speed trail ride and i think it will work awsome no worries of hitting rocks on the sprocket or getting hung up anymore, plus the suspension will destroy most other trail machines, stock long travel should be industry standard.

All I can say is the difference between IRS and solid axle on utilities is a HUGE difference. Give me a rocky slow trail and I will take the IRS anyday, but thats only 5% of the riding we do, and for everything else I want the stiff axle'd utility. We have a really fast/tight cornering section, and the body roll on the IRS quads (grizzlies) is just insanse.

I know its not a utility, but I was just saying my experience with IRS... I dont see it changing much between utility and sport either... I am sure they can make it a bit better, but they wont get rid of the body roll.
