Just bought a new truck and am going to do some mods to it. I need to sell my 04 baja. What do you guys think it is worth? Check out pics 4 and 5. It has an HMF pipe now, not the FMF in the picture. I think I am going to list it on Ebay tonight.

Not sure on how much. That's why i'm asking you guys. Hopefully I can get an idea on what to let it go for.

Best thing to do is search for the completed transactions for a like item. It will only give you the last 90 days worth of info. But it will give you the amount they are actually selling for and not the dream price you see so many listed for.
Some guy is on there right now trying to sell an 02 for $4000 and that is not even the reserve, while another has a 2000 with an opening bid of $2400 and a buy it now price of $3200. There is also an 04 Baja that's buy it now for $2300 (scam?).

I had a guy tell me he would rather have his DS sit in the garage, like it had been for two years, than take $2600 for it. Guess where it's still sitting??? Hasn't been started in three years now. Shame.

Jmac, I would say between 4-5000. I would take the mods off and sell them though, make a little more and nobody would know the difference. Good luck.

I learned a long time something is only worth what someone else is willing to give for it. I crack up reading the classifieds and what people are asking for stuff. I think a lot of times guys buy these things with the special financing then when the special rate ends they try to sell it for enough to pay off the balance LOL, problem is usually the balance is only a few hundred less then the orignal purchase. The funniest ads are the ones that list 6 lines of mod's they did but no price ROFLMAO.

Rule #1 is always list a price, I will not call on anything that doesn't have a price listed.

At the beginning of the summer I was gonna list a street bike on E-bay, an 01 Honda with only 1800 original miles......I did as someone here suggested, did a survey of what was listed and various bids etc.........well, after doing that I didn't even bother. I saw at least a half a dozen of the same or similar bikes that had zero bids, the ones that did have bids were fairly low.

BTW, just an FYI. I priced my 04 on the NADA site and it was a high of 4K.
