Ok, here is the question. In previous years Bomb put out a DS650, DS650 Baja, and a DS650 BajaX. In 2005 they only did a DS650, and DS650X. Does anyone know what wiring pattern is on the 2005 DS650X? I have a RWR CDI that I want to put on, and have seen the wiring diagrams and advisments on previous post, but unsure if I have the same pattern. Any help would be great.

Dont quote me or anything like that but looking at the wires on my 03 baja and the ones on my 05 x they appear to be the same.. If you have the x you have baja wiring. extra auxilary lights. tachometer wiring.and the testto check the fan relay switch is different from the x to the viper.

The Baja and X models are the same........They stopped using the "X" in the title in05.

 

In 2005 they took out the name baja and now it is called a ds 650x. This is what it says on the front of my owners manual any way who cares what they call it its still has baja wiring and its another quality product from lazy boy furniture, my mistake bombardier[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] i would not trade the comfort of my sofa on wheels for anything.

 

I own a ds650 Baja X and here is how my Woods cdi is wired up.
