Regarding the price of OEM plastic, I have heard that different model years have different part numbers with different prices! I know I ordered a rear black plastic a year or so ago and it was under $100 which I thought was a bargain compared to other manufactures plastic prices.

 

booth when i e-mailed the guy he said they are making the rest of the plastics. when they will be out who knows

 

countryjoe, i just ordered the black plastics from parker yamaha. they were 75.00 . the red ones wre 108.00. give them a call they are good to work with. also the carbon fiber peice on e-bay is REAL carbon fiber. go to featherlite.com to see all the stuff that place makes. too expensive for me though.

Hey Country, just called my local dealer,quoted $210 for the red rear plastic,and only $94 for the yellow. I would switch but i have the red seat. I am guessing all the older model yellow fits the 2004 ? Parts salesman didn't know.

 

all ds plastic is interchangeable. the only small difference is with the 04 headlight change. there is a groove cut on the headlight shroud to accomadate the chenged headlight. very small difference. you can run a old style headlight with 04 plastic if you want to also.

 

Thanks BOMBSAINT, Country Joe could you post Richards Recreation's phone #. I prefer new red fenders but i can't see $210. That is over $100 just for the same part in a different color, it should be carbon fiber or chrome for that amount.

i would like to see a full kit. front facia, rear fenders, tank cover and dash. how much is the tank cover from richards recreation? i know the dash from alba is 89.95. although 300 for the front facia is a little steep. how do you think a black facia and rear fender with carbon fiber dash and tankcover would look? how much is the fron facia and rear fenders in black?
