the 800 twin is in a sport chassis, people have seen it but won't talk about it publically even though there is no gain for them to keep it such a secret. oh well, the rest of us just have to wait and hope its all really true, myself included.
my opinions on a DS800? well it'll probably be the auto, but I wish it was a manual 5 speed with manual clutch. I could not care less about reverse, either way. But yes I want electric start. And it damn sure better be a chain drive, cause if it comes with a shaft, especially if its built into the swingarm like a V-force, I'm gonna be so disgusted that I may just dump my DS650 and drop Bomb altogether (actually that's just added color, no way will I get rid of my DS). People are gonna want to change stuff, draggers will want a longer swingarm, people want to play with gearing, people want to vary the width, people want to change their rear ends and not be stuck waiting on some company to come out with a super expensive and pain in the butt conversion kit just to make a boat anchor longer.
Oh, and yes it better be fuel injected too.

I agree Hightower. They do need to continue to be a class leader and offer the 800 with a manual tranny and chain drive. The SST frame is probably one the best frames IMO for a sport machine.
I also agree with making a sport machine with a single cylinder from the 800. BRP needs to get into the hot 450 market with a sub-400 lb- machine.
