Hey there Freakneh,
I may be able to do that.
Its pretty soon as I am headed out this weekend but let me get your e-mail and I will contact you if I can make it.
The group I go out with are headed to Ocotillo Wells this weekend ... not exactly sand dunes but I am just trying to do a shake down ride anyway since I have made several moddifications.. I would hate to break down in the dunes.
Let me know....

Freakneh - We may be at Buttercup that weekend. Possibly under the radio towers - not sure where the group I am going plans to camp. If I find out more details, I'll let you know. I'm new to Tucson, you got any good places to ride?

I will be at Buttercup. Either at Midway, or just past the bottom of the hill by the plank road. I was just out last weekend and the sand is incredable. Super smooth, no ruts. See you ion the sand.

SinisterOne, I have all kinds of riding areas to take you to. We will definately hook up for some riding. Where in Marana do you live? I actually graduated from Marana Highschool in '89. I'm Eastside now, over by Davis Monthan AFB.
FatHolly, I'm going to PM you my email address, etc.

Freakneh - Sorry about the delayed resposnse had to run to Phx for the weekend. I am up near Dove Mountain. Looking for some nice long trails. I've been up the power line road, but it ends at about 8 miles.

Are you over by the Tortillitas? If so, there is an area close by called Pinal. I generally don't go there, as it's pretty flat, and get's packed with people riding in every direction. If that power line road is off of Tangerine Rd, I've been on it...it's pretty lame...lol.
Unfortunately for you, most of the good trails are south, and east of you.
If you don't mind driving a little, there's some nice trails about 30 - 45 minutes away. There are some other area's that are a little farther, but they're well worth the drive.
I won't be doing any trail riding until after the dune trip. Hopefully we can hook up at the dunes, if not, I'll keep in touch, and we'll make some plans.
