Ahhhh .. another first ..

I remember quite clearly when my oldest first started walking. He never did crawl much. Took two steps, then 8, then off to the races.

Our youngest on the other hand .. he's 2-1/2 and still doesn't know how to walk. He can run like nothing else, but doesn't seem to know how (or want to at least) walk!!! Like a little Dash from the Incredibles!! LOL

Congrats dude. Enjoy it!!

Thats so cool, being a Dad rocks. 2 weekends ago I had the chance to take out my new family to the dunes for the first time. My daughter 6 and her son 8 havent stopped talking about it since. We have already decided that come Christmas, they are going to be all decked out in their own riding gear, helmets, and maybe even boots.

Now when it comes to the boys chasing my daughter....OHHH MAN! I went and picked her up from school the other day (kindergarden) and she was showing me around. She just had to show me BOY HILL!!! I guess the game is, when the girls want to be chased they all go up on BOY HILL and if they are up there, the boys then know they want to be chased! She then went on to tell me that one had even kissed her!! It was kinda funny to hear them talk about that stuff, but yet man was it scary.

I think when she gets married almost scares me more than the dating. I told my wife if she marries a guy that treats my daughter the way my wifes EX treated her. He will be met in the middle of the night somewhere with a kinfe to his throat!! As for dating, I am a big guy and so is her step dad. We have decided that the boys better be ready to be gentleman because if they arent, 2 dad's will take care of business!!!

My daughter is 17 months old now, and is into EVERTHING...lol. The other day she was playing with some of her toy's in the kitchen. I was sitting in my recliner when I heard her say, "daddy", I looked over and she was STANDING backwards in her highchair looking at me!!! She scared the crap out of me...lol.
She love's it when I putt around the back yard with her either on the DS, or my 400ex...she'll clap her hands, and laugh... She's the best thing to ever happen to me. Had I known how cool it is, I would have had kids 10 years ago. I'm also a stay at home dad, so I've pretty much got to see every milestone...without a doubt the coolest stuff ever.
