Yes sir. This beast has a stock bottom end. Stock stroke, stock crank.

 

I just wanted to give everyone a thorough update on how the spider
acted
with the new mild stock bore build its first time out at the Clash of
the
Titans last weekend.

We rolled it off the trailer on Thursday afternoon without a wheelie
bar.
Drakester was the first one to jump aboard and take it out for a few
test
passes. I think he was little impressed. I jumped on the beast and
headed
for the drag strip. I really didnt know what to expect...what WOW!!! I
never
imagined this bike would pull so hard from bottom to top. It literally
wanted to ride a wheeie in every gear. It was certainly too much to
handle
without a wheelie bar.

Friday morning, I bolted up the bar, headed to the Island. We unloaded
it
and headed for the strip. I spent most of the day Friday
working/helping on
other people's bikes. But, I did spend some seat time on the Spider
just
basically making a few passes on motor. We cracked open the bottle late
Friday evening with a little ole 20 shot and man, what a rush. I just
thought it was fast on motor....oh my, it was like riding a rocket. I
reminded me a lot of when I rode THEBOM'S drag bike at Planetsand. It
just
pulled like a freight train. We ran it until dark with very positive
results. I should have geared it just a tad higher, although I was
already
running 16/38 gearing.

Saturday rolled around and we dropped in the 30 shot jets and the show
began. It ran a 4.23 right off the trailer. I feel with a great deal of
certainty this bike has a couple more tenths to be shaved with its
current
setup. Im gonna take it down as low as I can get it with different
tire/gearing and see where the cards fall.

considering that YOU actually had your but on your seat when your bike cut those times.....Toot away.... .... i dont anyone that wouldnt be proud of that time.....ecspecialy on a stock bore.....
