Well as you can see that is one fast bike and it is the cleanest install that I have ever seen. If you didn't look close you would think that it was a regular DS....well untill it went up the hill . If no one has said yet that is me getting my but handed to me on the hill buy Curtis. There is a run without NO2 and the second one is a second gear launch on the bottle and 4th gear up the hill and He still went buy me like I was going backwards.....
I did get to ride the beast and let me tell you that thing is somthing else. It is so smooth and the power is unreal. My hat is off to curtis that is one heck of a build....I didn't expect any less either.
Justin I still can't get that picture out of my head of you poor engine. It is really good to hear that you will be take care of.

Matt,
The engine builder thinks the wastegate stuck and had the boost up to 25+lbs when it grenaded. He said detonation will not cause this problem. We will meet again and I will get ya a ride that makes up for the missed ones. Keep looking at the first of december trip to glamis. We would love to have ya.

Major,
Congrats on the completion. Its one of those things where, while your building it, you swear, Ill never do this again, but when your done, it was well worth all the time spent. At least for me it was.
I wasnt able to open up any of your pics. But I was curious if you had the stock exhaust canister, or an aftermarket? I switched over to the Jardine canister, and that really opened up top end. Before, it seamed to poop out a bit above 12 grand, but now it pulls much harder all the way to the rev limiter.
Anyway, glad to hear all is good. It sure would be a sight to see at 4sw if all the conversion bikes showed up, wouldnt it??? I would need to get a refil station for the juice though, I cant seem to get enough of it!!

WOW 25 lbs that is diesel territory!!!! No wonder it went boom. I will look foward to the ride that is for sure. Well I think that if i can get Curtis to go that trip to glamis would be one to make. I think that we could get Doug to go as well if you had room but if not he said that would be ok. I think that he would have his 523 YFZ together buy then as well and I am sure he would be dying to ride it. Glamis is about see level huh. I would have to bring race gas to run N2O there huh?

ya I noticed it was a little down on power on the top with only the headers, this weekend I will be putting the full exhaust on - I'm told I'll pick up another 10-15hp, thats why I'm confident I'll break into the low 70's on the hill, should quiet it down considerably as well.
thanks

Just a bunch of guys going. Plenty of room. There is still two queen beds left to sleep in. You and curtis could have your own or bring your cutest buddy to cuddle up to. lol. Let me know how it is looking for ya. Start bugging curtis to schedule the time off. We will be staying at wash 13.5.
