Anybody out there has done any minor(crazy) mods on their ds 650??? I got a 2000 with big gun full exhaust,Ron Woods stage 1 kit, 17 tooth up front,23 razors on front 22's on back,not fast enough yet!!!!!!!!!getting a 04 baja tomorrow,so some hints will be apreciated!!! is so good to be back!!!

How much power you want man?

 

Im about as basic as you can get. A pipe, carb, ported intake and cdi. It performs quite well for what it is.......but, I cant understand why anyone would want to mod their bike...afterall, I thought the DS was one of the fastest production quads built [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

I was wondering coulden't you get like an extra 25 horse from a K & N Filter by it self ?

More power = More mon$y which is directly proportionate to how fast you want to spend it.

730 big bore kit seems to be the way to go lately.
General rule of thumb

There is no replacement for displacement!

Just stick with the yellow ones. Everyone knows they are the fastest. If you need alittle more power just add stickers.
