Need help!!!!

Default Need help!!!!

We just installed my TM45, and when we start it, it revs like it is wide open. THrottle is not pulling on it, but it is still reving. Any ideas???

Is the slide completly shut at closed throttle ?

That seems to be the problem. We are not getting enough cable to allow the slide to close

glad you found it, it needs very little slide opening to allow the motor to rev to the limit when its out of gear.

ps if ye need any help or advice on setting up the tm45 do some searches for posts by hightower or contact him, he seems to be pretty good with them.

Yep, but still a problem. I am not able to figure out what happened to the cable length I need

Scratch that. It would appear we had the cable routed incorrectly. Always the stupid stuff right [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

sorry man , i have never set up a tm. but you tnd to find that with big flat slides they use up a lot of cable. i have a 46flat slide and im opretty sure the stock thumb throttle doesnt have enough stroke for it.

I use a twist so it isnt an issue for me, But there are a lot of guys here with 45's im sure some one will help you out
