Default Filter Cleaning

I took the original stock air filter out of my wife's really ugly '05 Outty 400XT (re: thread by mudvayne), which she chose over the much prettier Polaris 400 (re: post by Boseefuss in Mudvayne's thread) to clean and I used K & N filter cleaner, which I now think was a mistake as the filter foam material is very slightly tacky. Do you guys think I need to get a new one or is this one ok? Also, is there an on-line site to order these filters from?

Thanks!

Did you rinse out the filter cleaner? Gotta do that, let it dry, then reapply new oil.

Default Filter Cleaning

I did thoughly rinse out the filter, and it is still lightly tacky. I let it totally dry and oiled it. It seems ok.

Thank You,
