$1.83 and dropping

$.99 a gallon at mega x across town.....and that was only 6 years ago. How the hell has it gone up so fast ? This is the most ridiclous thing. At the accepted inflation figure of 4%/year, which is probably high, that would only come out to $1.25 a gallon.

A wheeler out here would be a blast!!!! Too bad there are too many morons that would ruin it for the rest of us. CP still has some good hunting though, and it's getting better. The new CG really has made things better for us.
Speaking of morons, if you look behind the new wash rack on mainside you will see an LAV test track. Crazy high banked turns, whoops, table tops, hardpack, knee deep soft sand, you name it it's there, with a bunch of dunes just behind it. Well, while with CSSG a bunch of us used to go out there and ride at lunch and after work quite often. Had a Lance Coolie who caught the off road bug, no prior experience, and went out one day by hisself, overshot the table top, landed pretty hard and snapped both wrist. I'm sure you can figure out the rest of the story...
Was much fun while it lasted!

That sounds about right.......one moron ruins it for everyone else.
It's funny that there is money to build test tracks on a base that is one big test track, yet I'm still sleeping in tin hooches w/dirt floors and still pi$$ing in the same exact trough for 23 plus years....

Haven't been out to Wilson in a couple of years now, but I heard they had really revamped the place, even put in a Carl's Jr.
Don't know if you ever got into the competetive shooting side of the house but my boys from the Marine Corps Rifle Team are here and I'm heading out to the rifle range for the High Desert High Power Championships in just a few minutes. I did several tours with them, the last being 2002, and alot of my buds are still there.
All the way out to 29 from Quantico to shoot a match. Couldv'e used that money for a concrete floor out at Wilson!
Exerciser, sorry about jacking your thread man. Just one of them racin' deals.
