Default New 800 and 400

I am very new to ATVs and am going to be buying a Bombadier Outlander 800 in Camo and a 400 in Green. I was given the price of 8550.00 for the 800 and 5800 for the 400. Is this a good price? Any thing extra I should look for in accessories? It will be used mostly in the woods.

Have you ridden other atv's much, and have you ridden the 800? I've ridden a lot of miles on atv's that were fairly fast, and the 800XT sure got my attention the first time I punched it, almost was too much for me there for a second or two. Be careful.

Ditto chirochris on the price, but the 8550 doesn't include taxes does it?

It was 8550.00 for the standard model - except taxes. He charges no fees or registration. I do want the XT package but didn't price that up yet. What can I expect for that? Plus Bombadier extended the FREE 3-year warranty until Jan 31st this year. I just want the BEST ATV out there. This seems to be the daddio at this time with a great repuation for all around performance. I like the ground clearance and benefits of underneath this atv. Power is always a good thing. I don't want to look back in a year and wish I bought something different for a little more money.

If it is a fair price its cool with me because this place has a lot to offer for service and such.

I bought my 800 Outty Max [2-seater] for 8585 OTD. But I know the dealer real well and will actually send some customers his way thru my ATV safety organization in the near future.

I opted NOT to buy the XT model becausue I dont like the very LOW location of the 2500lb Warn winch, nor do I even remotely like the tires that come with the XT package. With this in mind,I bought a 4000lb Warn Winch, and had a friend of mine who is excellant at fabrications, make me some rack high brackets for this winch,it works excellant. And I installed 27 inch XTR Radial Mudlites for tires. No use spending an extra 800 bucks for the XT package that I would'nt use.

I also took advantage of the free 5 year warranty.
