Is there any to fix a small hair line crack next to the bolt hole or am i gonna end up just throwing it out. I guess i overtightened it, its not leaking much but if you sit there long enough you can see it seep out of the crack

Have you tried cleaning it up real well then putting some JB weld on it?

Not sure I can picture where it is leaking from. May be good to post a picture on your page.

I had a leak on mine too, cracked on the side by the case saver. Took it off cleaned all the oil off, roughed it up with 80 grit, smeared J-B weld on the inside, hasn't leaked a drop since.

Is that your secerets CrazyPainter...JBWELD...I bet you got some jbweld on top of that piston to make it have more compression huh!!!

BTW We are going to be one DS short from now on. Ray is moving to Delaware in a few weeks. I tried to get him to leave me the DS but he says he is going to take it mudding over there.

SO tell Doug To get to practicing racing He has to pilot mine this year at snake hunt!!!LOL Hope he can handle a 40 shot out of the hole....

I had several small cracks around 3 or 4 bolt holes and I finally gave up and just bought a nice used cover - problem solved. Good luck
