they are watching these forums and I think the DS-Dakar is a pretty good idea.

How much you wanna bet the Dakar race won't be worthy of a 1/4 page small print clip in the infamous magazines? Then, it'll have a picture of a Yamaha beside it.

How about the DS-4sw version straight from the factory?? Complete package comes with Crown, dyno, jockey, and trophy!

I really think another DS is in order. A dakar version would be perfect. They do already have the baja, so it might be hard to sell to their marketing staff (BAJA...and DAKAR). Would be nice even if they didnt change the engine, at least add EFI. But then again, I certainly wouldnt complain about a whole new lightweight long travel setup [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

well, if we knew anything, and we disclosed it- it would be the last time we knew anything ahead of time! That's why you have be discerning when you hear someone come on and say they have the "inside scoop".

A Purple Velvet DS with a crown logo? Hahahahaha now that'ed be a hoot! You being the jockey would need to get some LBZ Purple Velvet riding pants to match! Then we could call it the fuzzy quad.

Already talked to the painter about the crown bike and it is in the works LOL

 

There is a guy who comes on here once in a while and goes by BacardiDS - he works for Bacardi and he's got a Viper Red DS - he put a black Bacardi Bat logo on it and made it look kinda like a Bacardi bike - though I think if you go through with a Crown Royal paint job it'll certainly beat the Bat sticker!

If you get that paintjob then you have got to get the Purple Velvet pants from LBZ! They really do make them and every year at the Chaparral Motorsports parking lot sale they have many pairs at budget prices because they are tough to sell off.
