Nice pics both of you. Topper, did you say you went to the moon?! The up here pic looks pretty lunar, and no milk weed in any of the pics, must not be closed...
What the hell is up with all of these care bears all of a sudden? I'm starting to feel a little Jeff Gordonish!

05dsrider, dont ever go to the dunes! See my theory...if you dont know just how damned great they are, you wont think about them constantly, and compare every place you usually ride to them! -lol. Seriously though, you should hit up some sand. Even silver lake is better than nothing. The first time we hit silver lake it was like magic. Then we saw the boundry fence! 2.5 hours must be pretty painful to not be able to ride SL right now. At least you dont have it too bad come spring/summer!
Now that I have my new 730 which is pretty much BUILT to be a dune quad, its pretty depressing thinking about riding at the badlands and our other local places. I guess I will just have to start the countdown till this summers ride and make the best of it, then cry on the way home!

No we have never been there. I have heard a few people talk about it, saying its more or less flat sand with some trails. It is about a 5 or so hour drive for us, so we havnt really tried it yet. So far we have just settled on riding up at either of my buddies two farms in wisconsin, or just hitting the badlands.

Well a couple years back we were at silver lake on easter weekend, and it was 17 degrees! there were only 3 rigs there...us, another truck and trailor, and a c5 vett pulling a trailor with a cr250 on it! the license plate was from NY! That guy was dedicated, but obviously not dedicated enough to buy something decent to haul a DB! I would never put a receiver on a c5! lol

Little boy is gettin' some! You should be proud. And it's nice to see that he is dressed for the crash and not the ride. Something of a rarity nowadays, out here in Cali anyway.
