It is hard to make the drive to Pismo when the weather isn't good since Glamis or Dumont has so much more to offer for only another hour or so of driving, not to mention Glamis & Dumont are in Season when Pismo is out of season. I typically look to Pismo as soon as it is too hot to hit Glamis or Dumont. Even then Pismo can be cold and windy, but at that point it is worth it since Glamis & Dumont are hot & unridable except during the late night hours. (Which is only fun if you live in San Diego and can make a night run.)

 

Sounds like a good idea 2big. Cold weather or warm it makes no difference to me. In fact, I prefer it more on the cold side since the humidity is so high. I often read that many of the guys a are headed there but the timing never jives with my schedule. I will let you know when I go and you do the same.

 

Great vids! But I did notice something,and if it has been talked about my apologies..I didn't read past the 1st page...Bombers DS was the only quad running a flag.....That scrubbed off atleast 3-4 mph from his top speed,and hindered his acceleration. So even as impressive as that quad is, it could have been even better that day, that is scary man. Great job guys!!!


Note: I ran 2mph faster in 300ft by taking off my flag. true story.

Vipor, yes we have and it ran better 60' times but we were banking on another 20+ hp at the wars that we did not have [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

I thought we needed the flag, funny how nobody told us LOL

 

Ah yes, I forgot about that. That would make the difference thats for sure.

 

I think Bombers bike needed about 400 more psi in the back. The hill was smooth enough....But too many things goin on.
