I am running my battery up front now and have put 4 guage on the negative side and 8 guage for the positive wire. Do you think 8 guage is too small for the positive side? I dont want to fry anything. Thanks

Glenn, you are sick in your head.
Let's see, the Shotgun is 12 guage. Speaker wire is minimum 10 gauge, 8 if short run or is that on longer runs???.....What is stock on the DS?

I should have known. You have always been a classey guy as far as I have seen on this forum. I misunderstood.

I have told you guys you are all wrong with this rotating mass theory. now listen boys, when i first start to make a turn my rotating mass which is real close to me is hard to get turning, but after the first revolution my rotating mass ( my belly for the new guys) has no problem at all continuing the rotations so the further away it swings the faster and stronger the revolutions become

Dragon- Long hills, 4 ft of (CORRECTION), It might be 6-7 guage from positive side.. The negative is a solid 4 ft of 4 guage. I have the extra cable, I was just wondering if I need to match the size of wire from the starter wire?

5X- lol I wont get that crazy yet!! But you are right.

2BIG- Thats pretty funny.

I cant take any chances, The 4 guage is going on, Its just so freakin HEAVY!! I should know better than that.

Annihilator,

Your question sounded like a total setup from my perspective coming from an experienced racer and engine builder like yourself, directed at a guy who is relatively new to the forum and to bikes in general and I wasn't going to bite this time. Again, I am sorry for jumping to that conclusion.

Ron

Thanks man!

DSNUT- Accepted, no harm no foul.

Oh and LOL, I dont build many motors but I do some serious tinkering with them. Thanks for the comps. Sometimes I tend to ask questions that I already know the answer to. I should know better.
