From Shreveport you need to take Hwy 71 North towards Texarkana stay on 71 for about 40 or 50 miles, take a right on 134 stay on it for about 5 miles and take a right on CR 8 there should be a little sign that says Red River Sand Drag, 8 turns into to a dirt road and you follow the signs from there. If you go to Mapquest and type in Fouke, AR you can see where 134 is off of Hwy 71.

From 71 it's real easy turn onto 137 then turn onto CR 8 and go straight till you see the signs. If the river gets up real high from the rain you may want to have regular tires as well as paddles. You never know just in case.
