hey guys we just got our 1st ds250 today and im extremely inpressed by how much bomb actually thought it through and how well designed it is ... here are some of the things i noticed and liked: the batery is under the seat, the seat is gel coated "comfy but not ds650 comfy", bright lights, runs good, easy shifting, 12vlt plug, and as its supposed to be a beginner model i would say they designed it well ... they didnt design it as a regular sport model i would say that 3/4 of the weight is in the front for the purposes of it being made for beginners, and to be honest i think it looks decent even though it doesnt have the same design of the ds ... as for riding we didnt want to get it dirty so ill have to give you guys a report when we decide to get er dirty hope this persuades some people to go see it themselves before they decide they dont like it

They are made in Taiwan but built to BRPs specs. I rode one at the dealership and it seems better built and sturdier than the Rally.

05dsrider, you'll have to keep us posted if there are any problems and I'll do the same if we see anything come thru the shop. Hopefully we'll only have good things to report but being a first year model, we can only guess at this point.

05dsrider Now that youve had your DS 250 for awhile do you still like it. I have a Polaris Trailblazer 250 and wanted to get a BRP... I'm keeping my TB 250 but wasnt sure if the DS would be able to keep up with the TB, seeing as how the DS is a 4 stroke. My first visit to my dealer they said just out on the floor not no real serious negotiations about $3200 OTD. I like my TB but just dont want to get the same thing again.

id say do the simple things you could take the baffle outa the exhaust possibly take the lid of the airbox rejet lighten her up a little in the front end and it would definately be alot funner
