The Outlander 800 H.O. EFI was ranked first in class according to ATV Magazine's last issue. The Outlander 650 was ATV of the year. There are some great videos comparing all aspects in all sizes@ www.bombardier-atv.com.
Check out the videos and I think you'll be impressed with it's ability to stand with the rest. Hope this helps.

I can honestly tell you the power is awsome. You fire it up and it sounds like a muscle car,
it just rumbles. The suspension is great and the ride is very comfortable.
You got to respect the power though because you can literally flip it over by jumping on the throttle.

I sold my two Prairies to get the Outy 800XT.........15 minutes seat time on the trail converted this big-time Prairie supporter over to the Outy. I was riding a loaner BF750 at the time, we switched rides, no comparison.....I now have about 200 miles of slick winter mountain trails on it and enjoyed every minute of it. Better handling, power, stability, ride comfort, the Outy has it all.

As soon as I sell my KTM I will be looking for an 800 one up. I debated a long time on this and here are my thoughts. I only want one quad. A utility will go where a sport will go only slower. A sport won't go everywhere a ute will go. It's tough to use a sport for hunting and cross country remote camping. I don't want to go fast in the dunes. Getting the 800 because it's better to have to much power than not enough. I have time to research before purchase so if anyone knows what the killer price would be let me know. Thanks.
