Only an $8000 reserve???

What a deal!!!!


I have over $13000 in my 04 DS 650 Baja X and have not put suspension on it yet.

Lets see:

$7000 purchase price
$4000 for EFI Turbo kit including installation
$1000 for HID light bulb kits in the stock lights
$400 for Vortex CDI
$200 for a 400 watt stator
$100 for rear LED light
$500 in miscellaneous small improvements


I'm putting on a third set of HID lights on the handlebars after Presidents Day. Thats another $500, but I like to night ride A LOT in the dunes as I stay up late.

As soon as I sell my Banshee, I plan on getting Elka shocks, a vibrastop steering stem, a GPR steering stabilizer, and flexbars. Then I'll be finished fixing it up for at least a few years.

 

 

I thought it was a good deal but I guess I was wrong since it did not even get to $6000 before the ending of the auction.

 

Hey Donal, what program series do you have for the efi?

 

I got a square LED made by Clifford MFG in Mesa, Az.

He makes them for emergency vehicles but it works fine on my DS as a brake/tail light. I just made a mounting plate and riveted it onto the rear of my six pack rack.

 

 

Anyone need a 04 stage one with a extended warrenty till 2007. I have a need for turbo speed??
