Default Taxes

Well tomorrow is the big day. . .

One of my buds has a Tax Acct. come to his house and we all get our taxes done the same day. It's kinda fun (well. . . up to the time our taxes actually get done.)

So. . . how'ld everyone else do?

I hope it don't end up hurting too much.

When you do your taxes, be sure to report everything that you bought on the internet, so that you can pay the sales tax on those items.

I, for one, did report everything!

hehehe

Just got mine done last night.

Being self employed, I usually don't pay enough.

Well this year I was on the ball!

BUT! Come to find out, the new Co. that my wife works for was only taking 8% out for Federal.

Obviously, we are in a much higher tax bracket than that.

So we owe again!

Good luck to everyone else.

Taxes? I have yet to file two extensions yet!! I will probably get them done in October again. The rumor I hear is, for every extension you file, it drops your chances of audit 40%. True or not, I dont know. But I will go with the rumor. Good luck.

Just FYI, if they want to audit you they will Back when I was in the partnership, we did the extension thing every year....Still got audited, I think twice in that time. And they still never found the account in the caymen Islands Shhhh!!!!

Oh yes your right. If you pick the lucky number, you get it no matter what. But the extensions throws you out of the normal picking order. Normally it is looked upon as someone trying to get it all right. My accountant does not condone it, but I try anything I can, as long as its legal.

I love paying taxes I try to give the gov't a litle extra over what I owe since they do soooo much for me during the year. HEY, my nose just got longer.
