Well I just talked to Eric(Mr HP) and he is a little worried about being ready. He has been working since 4 stroke wars and said he is still looking at a frame with no motor. They have done about 3 dyno runs and hes not ready. A experimental counter balancer was basically shaking things and breaking things off the bike. So he has cracked her open again to straighten that out. He told me that if he can get it to run straight and get it geared it should be okay but he thinks with the time he has left the bike will be at about 75% as far as tuning goes. He said he hasnt even started tuning for nitros yet. He said reguardless he wants to have fun this year at PS. Im sure after all they went through last year thats very possible. He said Glen pulled in last night and Bo was plugging away with him to get that quad done also. They had an alignment problem and had to do some cutting. Eric said he had just rewielded a few things back and Glen was shooting to be on the dyno today and pulling out tonight. Eric said that it was possible but was going to be tough. Glen cant update because of no service right now. Eric sounded a little tired and asked me to update you guys. Good luck to all you DS guys and lets give theses 450 hell

 

Thanks for the huge update MrMeaner. Very informative. Of course I was just guessing at the dyno numbers. I knew they were still fighting alligators in Kentucky. LOL! But guys this is what its all about right here. Working together to make sure Bombardier is first. No matter what. I will be sharing my tires, gearing, radiator, motor or whatever to make sure Bombardier is first. PERIOD! Lets hope that we all get these beasts together so we can lay the smack down on the potent raptors and 450's that will be in attendance.

Did I infer correctly that these (2) 855 motors (Bomber's and Eric's) are not the same? Bomber must be running the old counterbalancer setup to be able to get on the road that quickly.

Good luck Eric! Keep trying new stuff! Is that new frame titanium? That might be part of the problem...........

Bomber left for Planet Sand last night, we are bringing his bike down with us. Should be dynoing his bike this morning and mine this afternoon. Bomber showed up Sunday night, him and Bo worked on the Stealth Bomber all night and yesterday to finish it up.

DSNUT, Bombers motor has the stock counterbalance.
