Default Need Help.....carb?

I spent the day at little sahara today and had a great time. Bike ran excellent for me. Got to meet cynick and ride with he and his family for a while. At the end of the day my bike suddenly started acting up. When I would gas it, the bike would act like it wasnt getting any gas. It would idle just fine, but when I would give it gas it would stall out. Next, we pulled out the choke and oddly enough it ran fine again with the choke out for a while including a few runs up sand mountain. Then as I was loading up it did it again even with the choke out. I assume it is a problem with the carburator. Can anyone help me out and tell me what might be wrong or if they have experienced something like this before.

Are you sure that you were not at the reserve line. My buddy had a problem that sounded similar a few weeks back. When I looked in the tank I saw gas but it was at reserve. Next I would check that fuel is getting into the bowl. Take the bowl off and turn your gas on. It should flow fairly freely. If you have gas there then I would look to a clogged main jet. Also make sure that the needle is seated correctly. Mine poped out after a backfire and it would idle, but any throttle would kill it. I just had to click it back into the grooves and it was all good. I'm no carb expert but its something to start with. Good luck.
