I am getting ready to buy a new 450 and I am not sure if I should go with the Honda or the Suzuki...

 

id go with the honda but out of all of them id get the yamaha

 

What ruled the YFZ out?
I went to a MX race last Sat night and saw the new Suzuki run, it was impressive, looked like it had allot of torque and speed.
Appeared to be all stock, but it sounded like crap...........like a bike with a realllly bad valve job.

I would buy the YFZ, but I am a little biased having one. It does depend on what you are going to do with it. If MX is your thing, I hear the zuk is the way to go. If trails are where its at for you, then I wouldn't want to deal with the wider suspension on the Suzuki. My 450 is probably the best bike I have ever ridden. The suspension soaks up everything, and it is pretty quick right out of the box. Just my $0.02, let us know what you decide on.

 

I haven't ridin the Zook yet but have put alot of seat time in on the Honda and YFZ.

I prefer the way the Honda rides but the YFZ is much faster after you retard that exhaust cam.

 

Hopefully it will be a lightweight clean burning 2-stroke with tons of power. They have the motor, they just need to apply it to a new quad.

 

The 06 Honda is much faster then the 05 but they kinda screwed up the suspension. $600 in suspension pretty much corrected that though.
