Default Cut Hubs

thought I would share my pics of my milled down rear hubs. They now are just 4x110 honda pattern. Came out real good. Took quite a bit of material off. I weighed before and after. Before was 1.14.4 pounds and after was 1.02.5.

Once the pics are approved.

wow dude, those are super tiny now man.
nice weight reduction, good job.
on the older model DS's the hubs used to be much heavier even, and the weight reduction potential for them is much higher.

I like the plastic caps the new DS's have over the hub nuts. wonder if they can be added to the old model bikes? I'm gonna have to look at somebody's X soon and see how they attach, see what it takes. I want them.

hey hightower the hubs on my o5x have a little lip sticking out of the end of the hub with a little groove that hold the dirt cover on. my 03 bikes dont have that lip on them. to hold it in place. i guess you could buy some o5 hubs or maybe glue them on.

Yeah I actually had to weld some aluminium on those hubs cause there wasnt enough material there to drill for the honda pattern. This is not a problem with the older style hubs. 03 and earlier had enough there to do it.

Thanks
