Default Fuel injection?

My thought would be "IF" that is your last mod, then absolutly yes worth it just to never re jet for elevation and weather. Having to change your maps when you add more go fast parts that flow additional air, then yes still due to the fact that you don't have to re jet, but it is a lot of money.

Default Fuel injection?

I know fuel injection has its benefits. That 10 - 40% is over the stock carb.......and it doesn't say horsepower increase. We are assuming that is what they meant.

I have never seen evidence that the fuel injection with 48mm TB makes any more power than a well tuned Lectron or Mikuni 48mm...........however, just because I haven't seen it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Check out your options. I only have to rejet twice per year. When I arrive at St. A's and when I get back to the coast. Once you get it down, it isn't that big of a deal and you will get a good education on how to tune carb's.

I like efi, but I also like carbs also. If you get a power increase with efi over a carb set up, the carb set up is not tuned properly. Efi is not near as responsive as a well tuned carb system. ANd for $1400 for the setup, "ehh"" it has its perks. But injectors and maps can get expensive and time consuming. So you know take it for what its worth. Only way I would run efi is a with a turbo.

But a blow thru carb would be awesome also. Maybe someone needs to start R&D ing for a blow thru Lectron? TM?
