So with only three races into the season has anyone noticed that Bombardier is greatly improving the finishing lineup? Micheal Swift is living up to his name in the Utility Stock class by running away from the pack and bringing home yet another first place finish. Swift and teammates Clifton Beasley ,Mike Penland and Scott Kilby have begun a revolution for the Outlander 800 Manufacturer from Canada. Bombardier is getting serious about how the machines handle on and off the track. Mike Rogers with BRP is on hand at every race working with each of his riders trying to get the best possible setup for each rider's style. Micheal Swift would take home the first place plaque followed closely by Sam Williams and another Bombardier rider Will McCampbell. This race however would leave class favorite Mike Penland with a flat front tire and some busted plastics after an encounter with a noncooperative object. But as always Mike put on a smile and his comments were "that's racing".>>>>

I raced the first two GNCC's and noticed the 800 Outlanders are weapon of choice in the ute and modified ute clases. Look for more and more people switching to Outlanders as more aftermarket company's jump in with hop ups. I was running third when Scott Kilby came up behind me, I held him off for a while but when he went by me on a straight like I was standing still. My 800 was pinned, I couldn't believe how fast that thing was and I weight 100 pound less than him!

One thing I can tell you is that Scott Kilby's factory 800 has to be the most powerfull ATV in all racing! That thing was riding on just it's rear wheels all the way down the start and pulling on everyone. It has larger injectors and throttle body, a huge exhaust(not to mention loud), Elka racing suspension and many inside secrets.

 

It seems that BRP has set a new standard for the large utilities. There isn't a STOCK ATV that can touch it.
