The cheapest chassis that I have found to date is a suspended chassis from CP Customs at $2600 which will include of course the chassis, swingarm, a-arms, steering stem, marvin shaw shocks all the way around. His rigids are going for approx $3000. Of course you will have to provide aluminum drag axle, spindle mount wheels/tires, seat, motor. He can build the aluminum gas tank, wheelie bar and will paint it as well. He can build to the dimensions of the customer. Now CP Customs can stretch your OEM frame for a little cheaper than this. It will all depend upont what you want to spend.

The most expensive chassis's that I have seen or heard of are from folks like Southern Style Racing, Luke Benoit from $3500-$4500 range for a rigid. I know Luke can stretch your OEM chassis as well. But Im not sure on the cost for that. Maybe somebody else can comment on what they include with their chassis's. I have not had any personal dealings with these other builders. They do good work, but I personally dont think their chassis's are worth the extra $1500 either. JMO. Good Luck.

Weight savings going from an OEM chassis can drop anywhere from 100lbs to 200lbs, depending on the bike and choice parts.
