Any Rumors of a Bomb 800 UTV? I was reading their big marketing book on the 800 ATV and they stated in it that over the next 30 months Bomb will be introducing many new items in the marketplace. Kind of makes me excited but I would hate to wait and nothing. Plus i would hate to put 11k in a Ranger and a Bomb comes out. Thanks.

 

What is a UTV? BRP has a 2 up Outy 800 Max out now, great machine.

 

It would be like a Rhino, Ranger or Prowler.....a side by side.

Utility Vehicle. The max is a multi person ATV. A UTV has a dump box and side by side seating. It is a really hot market. Rhino and Ranger are the funnest machines out there.

 

An Outlander based machine with that sweet 800 rotax would be sweet. You have to wonder why BRP is jumping on that market. I know in my area the dealers can't keep Rhinos in stock and Mules are all over the place. Even seen one of the new Prowlers the other day I think. You also have a huge John Deer gator market to go after. Lots of guys I know have those but wish they were a bit more "sporty". Lots of these guys are the ones buying Rhinos. With that honking engine you could configure a UTV in a short sportier model and a longer work model even one with 6 wheels with out a whole lot of extra engineering work. All the parts are basically there with their big bore ATV line.

Here is an idea BRP...A longer wheelbase UTV but instead of tandem drive axles, a big drive track based on slightly lengthened version of the popular ATV tracks.

With their relationship with John Deere, it would make natural sense to create a competitor for the Rhino crowd while being able to co-brand it to the JD crowd.
