I dont care what you run. Your the one asking for pics of whats in my garage and getting the scoop on my racing career. Just dont go telling some poor guy on the hill that you have a hpr 730 with hr4 while he is on his stock bike and he blows his hard earned money buying that only to be scammed. you want to lie to other racers im kewl with that thats racing. you think all those crews at 4sw are straight up. whatever take a magnet with you if they will let you get close to the bike. have them drain that oil tank and see how much oil it actually holds. or how about the two gas tanks to get around fuel rules. i have no problems racers cheating each other. now builders cheating the guy who works overtime to afford one piece at a time is wrong. they need to be straight up if they dont sell what they race.

Here is an example, I ran into 3 guys with DS's soon after I got my 730 kit. They all had Ron Wood Stage III's and one of them was running a 15 shot on an old wet system. I don't think his bottle pressure was optimal but he was definitely faster on the button. On the long hill I still pulled him by a solid 3 lengths. The others without NOS was closer to 5 lengths.

They were huddled together discussing what just happened and noting the lack of a NOS bottle on my ride so I walked over and put their minds at ease. Here is the funny part, my DS started at 35 - 40 hp and hit 76 on our dyno after all the headwork, cams, carb and 730 kit. The 730 kit only gave me about 7 avg hp since I was already running 13:1 on my stock bore. That means all my other stuff added up to close to 25 - 30 hp.

I told them about all my other stuff and they weren't convinced. As soon as I mentioned the 730 kit, they slapped their knees and said "No Wonder!!"

I tried to tell them the 730 was really a duning tool (a valuable one) and not so much a race setup, but they didn't care.

exactly my example of the uninformed that think that check for the new cylinder is gonna get them up that hill first. Just like the ones that think off the shelf parts are the same ones people are racing, and big cc doesnt mean more power or race wins. Ron what motor was i running against the last time we lined up?Just curious.

 

Mike, I was running the 800 but with a single carb. What you saw is basically the difference an extra 150cc's can give you. I will pick up alot when the dual carbs go on because my cams are inappropriate for a single carb. My porting is designed for duals as well.

There is no doubt your bike rips[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] I will say that again if people didn't hear me the first time i said it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I will have the duals on on the 29th. That will be about where I end up on all motor.

 

Ron i wasnt fishing for compliments but yes for what it is my stock bore does well and thanks.When i add a nitrous system then i will have something.Dual carbs ?Oh that should provide some added performance for you.I really was just curious what i was up against last time we lined up since most times i get little or no information from the fast four strokes or i get the(its just a pipe and cams)story.You against Dells Raptor is a race i want to see.

I guarenty 5 min with me in person will resolve all this and don't make up some BS about me threatening you either.
