Can anyone tell me how some people can be so rude towards another persons fourwheeler? Me personally own a Ds650 and Everyone that rides a Yamaha, seems to cut it down. I would just like to know why people do this sort of thing? I mean Before this "raptor" was relesed to the public i never heard very much about the ds being "overweight, heavy, "boat anchor", submarine....ect". Another thing that bothers me is that its only a selective few peple that do the rude talking, but it makes alot more then just a few of the raptor owners look bad. I think a few people in that forum should get some Class and stop being so stupid about other people's rides. I like the raptor and think its an awesome quad, so i dont want anyone to reply to this saying how i cut on it, because i dont and I dont think I ever have, other then defending when you say the ds is a pile and unreliable, then i simply refer to the breaking parts on the raptor...just defending myself.

why do you think people are like this?

Their immaturity shines thru when they feel
intimadatedby a machine and things being talked about a machine that has quality written all over it.

Have you ever noticed that all of the "trash talkers" are non-racers? A trip around the track on race day would do these "keyboard racers" some good. When the green flag drops....The BS stops.....

Why does it really matter to you? If someone cuts on my machine, it is like water running off of a ducks back.....means nothing. Guys are usually just kidding around. I have done it myself, but I don't hate/dislike the DS. Have a good holiday weekend and ride safe!

This forum is far better than most. I like the fact that there is a moderator, and that they stop profanity. Intelligent discussions about riding are refreshing. My complaint here is that many of the posters claim to know all about the DS and DO NOT EVEN HAVE ONE ! Now there is a good source for advice - Not.

To me the real issue is not whose ride is better, but that people actually do ride and enjoy themselves. There will always be something bigger and better.. Well, maybe not bigger

I love my DS. I used to have a 400ex and my brother was beating me with his 400 sport. He liked to rub it in. Now I do the rubbing.

dskurt,
That is like the ONLY Trail system i ride on. In the summers, were up there about 3 times a week, on school weeks, its about 2. I'v been up there on 1 or 2 occations when i met another Ds owner. Actully one of the times i Met 2 (i think it was 2 or 3) ds owners. We were talking about my Chain Tensioner breaking. Hmmmm Do you ride there<? if you do i'm POSITIVE i'v seen you ther, because there are only a selective few ds's that ride ther that i'v seen. So how often do you ride that trial system? email me if you want. I'd love to go ride sometime.

We stay at East Arbutus. The last time I was up there I talked to two guys on 650s as I was getting ready to leave. They each had a girl with. That wouldn't happen to be you would it?
